You may have noticed my absence here lately. There are several reasons for that. I’ve been guiding a lot and I’ve led two workshops in the last three weeks. Mostly though, I’ve been out hiking and four wheeling to some amazing locations that I’m scouting for a new photo tour I’m offering in 2012 called Undiscovered Moab. As the name implies, the tour will include sunrise and sunset photography around the Moab area at locations that haven’t been discovered by the throngs of photographers who flock here each year. In fact, most locations are virtually unknown. These spots may lack crowds but they are not lacking in breathtaking scenery. I’ll announce details of the Undiscovered Moab photo tours in a few weeks right here on the blog. Until then, I hope you enjoy this teaser image from sunset last Wednesday just as a storm broke that blanketed the La Sals with snow and filled desert washes with red muddy water.
